Hi, I am Suzanne Jones and I am running for Position 3 on the Germantown Municipal School Board. My husband, Nathan and I along with our three sons moved to Germantown in 2012.
Our three sons are Trenton, a 9th grader at Houston High School, Hunter, a 7th grader at Houston Middle School and Grayson, a 5th grader at Dogwood Elementary. In 2008, I hit pause on my career to focus on my three sons. Since 2008, I have been active in their schools as a leader in PTAs as well as an advocate with school administration. I have also been involved in PTAs in three states, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Tennessee.
With over 20 years business experience, beginning as a CPA at PriceWaterhouse and ending as an Executive with Bank of America, I have extensive business acumen and bring team building experience to the board.

PriceWaterhouse – CPA – Assisted clients (e.g. NationsBank, Coca-Cola Bottling Co.
Consolidated, and other large manufacturing companies) with their annual audit and financial
Mary Kay, Inc. – Head of International and Consolidated Reporting for the corporation. Led the conversion of the consolidation of all U.S. and International reporting to PeopleSoft reporting software leading to efficiencies and more analytical data available for management.
Bank of America – Senior Vice President – Led teams within Finance, managing Securitizations, SEC and Regulatory Reporting and Consumer Bank Sales Reporting. Also, I was the Executive responsible for National Group Banking. My key accomplishments while at Bank of America were:
Consolidation of Bank of America and NationsBank Securitization group
Publication of the first full Annual Report for the Bank in over 4 years.
Led the restructuring of the Allowance for Loan Losses function and implemented new accounting processes to improve the overall Allowance process.
Increased sales in National Group Banking year over year, driving a higher percentage of total New Deposits.
